and here i am again with my addiction to FASHION. yes, you heard it right, fashion. although i really don’t consider myself as a fashionista, i always have the loves for fashion: from make-up, clothes, accessories, shoes, bags. in as much as i would want to own a piece of this and a pair of this and that, i can’t (weh). kidding aside, i have to prioritize my needs. i have to save up big time because i’m planning to buy a house or a condo… but my mom and my friends always tells me,
"honey, you need to enjoy your money because you’re still young and you can’t enjoy it once you’re dead."
… so i was convinced. i still save (i promised to save the XXX amount of money whenever i spend XXX amount of money, so everybody happy!) though, but here’s what i’ve been planning to buy before my birthday:
SHOES — for work and parties alike
1. COMFIT heels/flats in yellow (50th Ave Rob Galeria | Michael Antonio in Power Plant Mall or RW Manila | The Block SM North Edsa)
2. CALL IT SPRING mary jane pumps in black/brown (Greenbelt 3 | Rob Manila)
3. THE LITTLE THINGS SHE NEEDS (Eastwood City Walk 2)
4. FIVE BY FIVE platform boots (fivebyfive.multiply.com)
5. FEET FOR A QUEEN (feetforaqueen.multiply.com)
6. MICHAEL ANTONIO heels (Power Plant Mall | RW Manila)
7. SO FAB heels in black (sofab.com.ph)
8. POSH flats in red/cream (poshpocketshoesonline.com)
ACCESORIES | MAKE UP — to bring IT up a notch
9. MISS SARTORIAL detachable collar (missartorial.multiply.com)
14. CARONIA nailpolish in gray ash (any mall, practically)
CLOTHES — again, for work and party
15. WAGW animal print sheer polo (3F Rob Gale | wawg.multiply.com)
16. TOPSHOP body con dress (SM)
17. COEXIST detachable sheer skirt (ShangriLa Plaza | coexist.multiply.com)
whew. what a list. well, most of the items are already pre-ordered online (thank God for online shopping) BUT let me tell you i am not rushing at all! (you can give me a present instead, you can consider this my wish list heheheh)
and the good thing is, i made serious thoughts of listing these because i know these will not just rot in my closet. i can use ‘em at work and whenever i go to events and parties, so win win situation right? :)
I just received the go signal from Mango! It’s time to select the deserving charity for which the $10,000 donation I won as part of my prize as the new Mango It Girl will go. Needless to say, this amount of money will surely make a HUGE difference for whichever charity it…
I’m really excited for our mini-reunion later because I will get to see my preetee sisters and dear brothers that I haven’t seen for a long time. The thing is, I dunno what to wear! I can’t plan because, one, I will have to travel at 6 am after work for 6-7 hours from Manila to Baguio (yes, our mini-reunion will be held in Baguio); and two, I need to catch my dentist at 5 pm so I can have my braces adjusted (I’m a delinquent patient, mind you). So that leaves me cramming, I guess.
On a lighter note, I am also excited about another thing: shoes!
Earlier this week, I was accompanying my preetee sister Gee for her final interview. Afterwards, we went to the mall, and guess what? I bought TWO ballet flats! :D Although they are of different colors, they are of same style (nonetheless, it’s really preetee!) I went for ballet flats instead of heels because I suck at wearing those, really. I’m a walker—I stride 2 blocks on the way to work from home and vice versa. Another good thing about flats nowadays is that, it’s an acceptable footwear for office attire. :)
In my continued addiction for flats—I have 5 pairs to date, I decided to buy 2 more pairs (now of a different style and colors too) online. Thank goodness I ran into Camille Co’s blog (itscamilleco.com) to find a good brand to shop with. She recommended PoSh—short for Pocket Shoes, literally. It’s actually foldable and each pair comes with a very fashionable pouch that can be converted into a bag for your pair of heels: HOW COOL IS THAT? Plus it’s very affordable and of course, fashionable. You can check more of their flats at www.poshpocketshoesonline.com for more information.
